The Arcamedes Lorica Plumata ring is inspired by the delicate Kyanite crystal, a fragile crystal that naturally grows in fan, feather like formations. The Lorica Plumata ring is hand carved and poured in precious sterling silver to emulate the crystal. It is worn on the hand to harness the appearance of primordial wearable amour that resembles a bird's wing.
Cast in 925 precious Sterling Silver, It's individually textured to form a likeness of a protective talisman to protect the wearer. Each ring celebrates the artist's individual touch; more likened to a sister ring. The ring balances with sensitivity between masculine and feminine identities, availing a unisex deposition.
Each ring is engraved with the artist's logo inside. The Lorica Plumata ring is darkened to catch the sculptural shape of the ring, by oxidising the patina that will change with wear, as it becomes apart of your daily armour. Rings are handmade, sawed and polished in the Arcamedes_ Atelier in Melbourne, Australia. Limited in availability this piece retains a roughness from it's origins in the sawing, hammering and forming of the metal.
As with all metal rings, it is recommended that customers size up to accommodate the wider bandwidth. If you are unsure of your size, please seek out your measurement from a professional jeweller, stating the measurements are for ring that is 2cm wide.
