SONS OF WILLIAM SPRING/SUMMER 2016
SONS OF WILLIAM - SPRING/SUMMER 2016 LOOKBOOK
Today we introduce the lookbook for the Spring/Summer 2016 collection from Copenhagen based unisex label, Sons of William, entitled 'Dust Esthetique'
The collection draws inspiration from a post-apocalyptic war stricken society affected by constant dust storms. Founded by two brothers, Julius and Victor Juul, Sons of William sets out to create collections that focus on refined functional pieces featuring innovative details and fabrics with a clean silhouette.
The collection is split up into two groups representing the individual district of the society. The frayed and distressed garments are a product of the Outcasts, while the clean and technical pieces are worn by the Civilised Assembly. The innovative selection of fabrics for this season features; nano coated 100% waterproof cotton, aluminum backed polyester microfiber, raw and coated linens, lightweight cottons combined with, heavy-duty zippers, 3D pockets, stainless steel engraved chains and raw print patches. The extensive fabric research and innovation by the brand’s founders transforms into a truly unique visual effect.
Raw and distressed garments are perfectly complimented by clean, functional tech designs and are elegantly showcased throughout the collection with lightweight garments that combine their signature fabrics with innovative trimmings. The line truly commits to the parted districts individual expression.
Signature to the brands aesthetic is the clean yet heroic silhouette, like a fearless desert explorer.
